Who have have an umbilical hernia operation near a mesh lately?

i want to know how it went, i own mine on the 7th of this month, how did urs go, anything i should be worried almost? am 19, kinda scared of the anaesthetics, what does the belly button look resembling after the operation, help me subsequent

I had one roughly 5 years ago.
Its a pretty easy and standard operation the get better is about 2 to 3 weeks, after the 1st week you will get the impression yourself getting stronger and stronger every day.

My friend have done, and it all go pretty smoothly. She wasn't even very sore after ward. Her belly button looked pretty much the same after. She have only a small constricted scare. Her surgeon told her to put sun eyeshade on the scare every afternoon even under clothes for the first year to give a hand to fade the scare as much as possible, and that really seem to work.
Just make sure some one go with you, but you'll be fine.
Husband only had 2 hernia repairs contained by november one was umbilical. He have the mesh and they did a super job he have 3 tiny little scars that are vanishing belly button looks like it did up to that time the hernia. He was contained by some pain for a couple weeks but I believe that was in principal the other hernia he had repaired that hurt more. Dont be afraid of the surgery these are routine and you will grain much better after its all over. Make sure you wear sleeping pant or loose sweats to hospitol so no pressure on your stomach when you dress to leave. Good Luck!
